  • Weld Symbol Size

    Hi Selma,

The text size for various elements can be changed in the (GAM) Graitec Advance Manager from the Drawing-Labeling on the Text. The text size for the weld symbols is not listed. You can find the weld symbol in the folder: C:\ProgramData\Graitec\AdvanceSteel\2010\Shared\Support\Symbols. Once you open the drawing you can then change the text height using the BEDIT command.

    Best regards,

  • Advance Steel 2014 using the 64-bit version of Access database.

    Hello Russ,

You will have to download a recent version of Microsoft Office. You can find answers to your questions regarding 32-bit and 64-bit a this website http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/windows/32-bit-and-64-bit-windows#1TC=windows-7. I believe when you download the engine Advance Steel will automatically use the correct engine path. You also have a option when dowloading softwares to choose the path.

To activate the tool You must first create your preferred materials by selecting the Materials icon and creat a material to attach to a beam column...That started the process for me.
