Can you attach your AstorSettings.mdb (in zip or rar) to check? I can not reproduce your issue - always after exploding th green frame disappears (I changed default for the green frame visibility, but it took no effect).

I suppose you mean the page frame, which is defined inside the prototype drawing as a block "HYPERSTEELPAGEFRAME". If using drawing exploding from document  manager, this block is not exploded and it gets layer "0". You can explode it additionally and after this, it will keep original layers as defined inside the block. There is no extra setting for page frame layer after exploding drawing.

I found a workaround to set default labels for manual labeling:

- Run a "insertt label" command and b typing "C" open "label content mnager"

- Select "User" tree, right-click and set as current from the context menu

- Go inside the tree for label definitions for each type of object (e.g. beam) and remember the name of label content definition which is actually set as current

- Do any change in the content field (e.g. delete a part of the string) and from the roll-out menu choose some different label content definition. Now should happen that the "save" button is active (this seems to be a bug)

- Set back the label content definition which was default, make changes and save, do this for all objects you want

Now you should have the label content set according to your request also for future sessions.

I think that label content manager and drawing style manager are not linked, so even if there are labeling strategies with the same name, the content differs.

I tested the behavior on workshop drawing - if level symbol is placed in assembly drawing e.g. on the head of column and the column is moved verticaly, the label value in is updating according to new position. In your case it is arrengement drawing. I discussed this also with another colleague and he said that level symbols are not updating in arrengement drawings (standard behavior).

Hi Nenad,

To clean the model from duplicate holes you can use "_AUDIT" function of AutoCAD (AdvanceCAD). To use audit also with AS objects, you need to extend it on these objects by the switch/command "_AstM4CommAudit" - see the attached screenshot (I use CZ version).

It is recommended to use audit during creating model, due to it can fix many of modeling errors (such as e.g. duplicate shortenings), which can lead to model instability or problems with generated documentation. Also PURGE command is good to use to clean the model from some helping objects (not used but present in the model) - here just py attention due to this command deletes unused layers, blocks,... Don´t use AS AUDIT and PURGE in drawings, only in model.

I got confirmed that it is not possible to use level dimension in drawing styles for shop drawings at this moment, but the issue is in development, so maybe in some future version...

Regarding the position of level symbol after drawing update, I made short testing and in my case the value in level symbol updates correctly. The problem an be in osnap mode used for placing level symbol - you should use osnap to node (in my case I tested and worked also end point). Can you attach a part of your model and the drawing to check?

As far as I remember, it was not possible to automatically add the level dimension in the shop drawing. I will check, if this option was not added in some of last versions.

you are right, AS does not show weld size for welds with default size, which is set in Defaults.

In the method old/new - I made a mistake, trust the software :)
