RE: AS2010
Can A.S. show a marker on shop drawings (sim to attachment) on the framing side of shear plates so the fabricator can mark that side for proper steel erection?
NO CNC for this fabricator.

I detailed a beam with shear tab & on the shear tab have a leader with text "Beam side" is this what you are looking for?  I'm using A.S. 2010 too.

Hello Bart,

As I understand you need to mark where the attached parts will be placed by the fabricator.
The steps are:
- Open "Drawing style manager"
- "User" branch
- Open the desired style (eg: "Tie beam" - "Tie beam - front, top" - "Mp Top, Bottom" - "Object presentation")
- Choose the button "Add new object presentation"
- Choose "Center punch" from "Model objects"
- Set the "Presentation" to "Visible"

Hope this is the case!
