Creating and using a Multi-User database is done with commands from the "Advance Multi-User" toolbar.
The "Create a multi-user database" command creates all the required databases. To create a database, login to the SQL server and specify the authentication type.
Click "Login" and enter the database name, the administrator name and the password. The user that creates the database is the administrator. Click "Create" and the program will display a message when the database is created.
The "Create a multi-user database from drawing" command is used when there is a main model and the user wants to add this model to a database. The principle used is the same as the previous command with the only difference being that the user must have the model loaded in Advance Concrete before accessing the command. This way the model will be automatically added to the new database. To connect to the database created in this manner, close the model that was added to the database and reopen it.
The "Connect to a database and create a new workspace" command connects the user to an existing database and the new workspace is automatically added. Connect to the server and then the program will display the available databases. Choose the database and click "Select".
Enter the user name and password and then click "Login".
The program will load the new model.
