Has anyone found a work around for the fact that you can't do a right side only clip angle?  This was reported as a bug a long time ago and confirmed by Graitec, but still no fix has been provided.  Any suggestion on a quick way to work around this problem would be appreciated.

Hello Steve,

This will be fixed with the SP2 of Advance Steel 2011 (planned to be released in November 2011).

The current workaround is:

- create the "Clip angle" joint and ask for two angles (choose "double" for the option "1. Number of angles" in the dialog)

- select the joint cuboid and delete it (to stop the intelligence of the automatic joint)

- select the unwanted angle and the bolts between it and the main beam, and delete them

Regards

Philippe
