I have been manually creating wall rails and inserting a bracket. Is there a way to create a wall rail bracket? I am using ASD 2015.1. Thanks,Cruz

I usually just make an 1/8" round plate center my UCS and choose a peice of round bar that comes out and a mitered peice that comes up in the z access. The first one is relatively fast and you can use the "advance copy" tool to place more in any plane.

Thanks but I have one more question. How do I get it to show up as wall rail bracket in the BOM and not plate and bar? Thanks again,Cruz

Once the items are connected via weld or bend or however you're connecting it, you can use the user attribute panel in the item's advance properties. This panel can be reached via right clicking and selecting The affformentioned panel or simply double clicking the item. You can also assign a commodity in the numbering panel inside the advance properties either way you wish to approach this, the outcome can be configured to your likings for the items presentation on the bill of material.

Hi Cruz, If I understand you correctly you need the wall rail bracket not to show as plate and bar in the BOM. I have attached information on how a change the TypeName of a user section and have it reflect in the BOM, mind you it is not your exact situation so use it as a guide or reference. Please see attached PDF.I hope this helps,Best Regards

Hi cruz,Regarding your wall rail bracket, look in the symbols folder where you will find a wall bracket. It is an AutoCAD 3d solid. You can customize the bracket to your specifications and insert it as a special part. See attached.Best Regards,
