The user has the option to apply different multiplication factors to the same bar distribution.
By using this option, for identically reinforced elements, a single detailing drawing can be created, but finally, a correct number of bars will be generated. This method ensures flexibility, efficiency and a smaller work volume.
For example, a building facade with 3 levels has 2 identical circular windows on every level, It is enough to create a reinforcement drawing for one window and the correct number of reinforcement elements is obtained through multiplication factors:
• Second multiplication factor has the value 3 = number of levels in the building
For a linear distribution of bar mark 1, the multiplication factor table is available in the distribution's Properties window, on the "Definition" tab. The total multiplication factor - the product of all factors entered by the user – is automatically calculated and displayed:
The values of the factors can be changed directly in the table and the user can add or remove multiplication factors by using the two buttons positioned on the inferior side of the multiplication factor table – "Add" and "Remove":
Another way of adding or modifying multiplication factors for bar distributions is by using the "Apply a multiplication factor to distribution" command, on the "Others" tab on the "AC: Drawing" ribbon:
In order to use this command properly, the definition bar and all its distributions must be selected.
To verify that the multiplication factors were applied correctly, reinforcement symbols and lists can be created for the distributions in question:
