To create a cooling tower, two polygonal surfaces are required which define the tower's height and radius. These surfaces should be created using polylines.
Using the AutoCAD® command Revolve from the Modeling toolbar, convert these surfaces into AutoCAD® 3D solids.
After the conversion, overlap these two 3D solids and use the AutoCAD® command Subtract from the Modeling toolbar, which gets only the entity (the "contour") that has a specific thickness.
To convert this AutoCAD® entity into an Advance Concrete structural element, use the "Convert 3D ACIS solid to structural" function from the "Advance Model" toolbar.
After using the "Convert 3D ACIS solid to structural" function, select the new created entity, and, from the context menu select "Structural element type".
The dome can be used to create reinforcement drawings, sections, elevations, isometric views, etc.
