How many details you have on one sheet? If you have multiple details on same sheet you may considering moving on or couple of them to another sheet. Would yo please provide the detail sheet you are having problem with?

Hi All,

Have a sloped beam to column with CJP connection. The beam is sloped & rotated in X axis direction. Per CJP requirments there shpuld be continuity plates align with beam.

Regatdless how I set the USC or which connection do I use (Shear Plate or Moment Connection) to ceate the continuity plates I never get the plates align with beam slope & roytation.

Any suggestion? Has it been updated in AS 2014.

Creation the plates manually isan option to me. Program should be able to ceate it. I'm using AS 2013 on AutoCASD platform.

Hello all,

Have a W shape beam over pipe column, when I use "Canteliver beam" connection I get an error message "Unspecified error" & program denies any connection but if I use thr same connection between a W shape beam & a HSS column I get the connection. I usind this connection in AS 2010,2011, 2012 & never had any issue.

What should be done to solve the proble. I'm using AS 2014 with SP1 on AutoCAD platform.

Hope somwone will be able to help. The entier project is base on this connection.

The point was why Graitec dosenot add this feature in the program.

I had to rotate a member in model be certain degree & when I came back to same member by selecting it to see what was the rotation, there were nothing to indicate the rotation degree. Why Graitec dose not save this information? I looked at member property & did not see rotation angle. Is it improved in 2014 version?

Thanks for your info. However your dicription did not made me satisfied.

1-Grid lines were there to show what the deck flut direction should be & they are horizontal & has nothing to do with roof slope.

2-I tried to use polyline which I created by AutoCAD 3D polyline & did not accept, aparently Graitec dosenot recognize 3D polyline.

3-I requested to send me the model you created but never got any respond.

4-I used AutoCAD 3 dimension USC, create a triangle & used clading icon (blue color) to fill the rectangle, then trim all panels to fit into roof frame.
