Is there a way to model chain in Advance Steel?  I am building a work platform and the customer is requiring a chain barrier at the opening of the posts.  I would like to create the chain in the model and have it come up on the BOM for my purchaser rather than hand draw it on the fab sheets and write in the chain on the BOM.

Is it possible to create a piece of 1/16" sheet with a 180° bend (hemmed edge)?  I have tried multiple processes to join the sheets and create a folded plate with and without position adjustment and cannot create it successfully.  I have attached the model for your reference.  The tab to be joined is colored green.  I am trying to join it to the sheet behind it via the long side.

I am having difficulty with the Create Lists process and being able to reliably develop a material list.  As usual, following numbering I attempted to generate a material list, and on the first try I got it.  SUCCESS! I saved the material list and printed it so that I could review it.  After making a few changes to the model I re-ran the numbering and then updated the documents.  I selected the BOM editor and then checked the extract file from earlier.  This time the extract came up blank.  I have yet to successfully recreate the material list all day.  Also, when I use the create list feature I cannot always remove the lists that didnt work.  This has become the single most frustrating part of using Advance Steel for me and I am beginning to dread these steps for every project I work on.

I have created several special parts for my model however when I generate camera views for my erection drawings, the special parts do not show.  What is the best way to generate and use special parts?

I have created two special parts for a project.  The parts are shown on the model with no issue however when I generate a camera view for my E-sheets the special parts do not show.  When I check the specific view in Drawing Style Manager, special parts are to be displayed as Visible (Exact).  I am going to try deleting the camera and placing a new one to see if this fixes the problem as the special parts were added after the camera was placed.  Any thoughts would be helpful.

Is there a way to create eye bolts, eye nuts, etc. for use in models? I am working on a project that requires an eye bolt to be used as a tie point in 21 locations and would much rather show the actual item than a block or other image.

I need to show a shouldered eye bolt as a tie point for a project.  There is no option for this in Advance Steel.  Is there a way to create a fastener such as this within either Advance Manager or as a special object?  I have read the post below multiple times but do not understand what is being said.
