Hello. I have a problem in "Toe Plate" connection.
As you will see in the attached picture, the left
picture is what i have done. I set the plate
thickness, bolt arrangement correctly.
Afterwards, i got the shop drawings and i saw
that the plate dimensions have changed in all toe
plate connections. When i checked, the setting
are correct. A property transfer without any
change, makes the connection correct. But i have
to update all of the toe plate connections. And
this is the second project i have to do this.
Simona, thank you for your answer. But what i want to do is, to get a detail drawing of a joint, and the single part details of the attached plates of the joint near it. Like in the drawing process manager, "Assemblies - single with parts". I see some training videos, the joint detail is drawn, the single part drawings of the detail are drawn near it, the detail circle and name of detail is drawn on the general arrangement drawing. I couldn't do this. Regards, Barış.
I asked to learn how it can be done. And also what is the easiest way to get the shop drawings of joint details. Thank you.
Can the attached plates in the camera box be drawn
in camera detail drawing?
No, I have Advance Steel 2016 but Autocad 2017. Advance Steel 2016 didn't work on Autocad 2017.
How can i get the single part drawing of compound
Hello. I have Autodesk Advance Steel 2016. I just
upgraded my Autocad to 2017 version, and now my
Advance Steel doesn't work and warns as "Autocad
cannot be found". Once i have installed Autocad
2017, so i can't install 2016 version. How can i fix
this problem? There is one problem more, Advance
Steel doesn't work when Office365 is installed.
As you will see in the attached drawing, on top view
of the detail drawing (girder), attached plates on top
are dimensioned, but the bottom plates are not.
What should i do and which dimension type should i
choose to dimension the attached plates both on
top and bottom? I used the drawin style "General
Assembly NesView 1:10 CX"
