Advance CAD supports text stacking via the MTEXT feature, available when you select the text, right click and choose "stack/unstack" from the right-click dialog.
For dimensions represented with fraction values, you can change how it is represented (not stacked, fraction line horisontal or fraction line diagonally) by modifying the default value "Fraction type" (GAM/Defaults/Drawing-Labeling)

We already have Feature request in place to implement an optionto sum tokens in groups for BoM editor.

For BoM editor, the Area1 token is astandalone token, which displays the area of one plate, and there is no othertoken to display the area of all the plates (so taking the quantity intoconsideration), and also no token for a sum up. For this, you will need to use BoM on drawings, where you cancreate formulas to multiply the area and the quantity, as in the picture attached.

Please run a cui reload on the AutoCAD platform used for Advance Steel :
- start AutoCAD alone.
- open CUI dialog (by typing CUI).
- reset the cui by right-clicking on the ACAD personalization in the tree-view part of the dialog (top-left corner) and select : Reset ACAD.CUIX. Then, press Apply and then OK for the settings to be taken into consideration.
- go to AutoCAD options dialog (right click on the workspace and choose : options, then go to the tab : "Files" and check if in the first category  are any paths leading to a graitec folder - if there are, remove them).
- switch the workspace to any of them to perform a workspace reset.
If the problem still reproduces, please reinstall the ribbon files related to this ribbon. Those files can be found in : C:\ProgramData\Graitec\Advance Steel\2012\Steel\Support\Toolbars\2009 and they are called AstAdvanceMenu2012. Just rename them all (put a underscore in front of the file name), and then run an Advance Steel 2012 repair to replace those files with fresh ones.

Currently weld lenghts are not avaliable in Advance Steel for BoM lists or external calculators. We have a Feature Request already in place to include this option in a future release.

Please send us the BoM template you've modified and the drawing in which when used, the result is incorrect.
The result you seek is similar to the result given by the default "Structured list" BoM template ? in which each assembly is grouped with its single parts, and quantities are given per main part ?

Advance Steel files are not version backwards compatible, so an AS 2013 file can't be opened with AS 2012. You can realize a partial transfer for a model through GTC (Export the model to GTC with AS 2013 and then import it with AS 2012).

The asymmetrical objects you mirror in the examples have features that make the mirror object different then the source. If you rotate the mirrored object to match the position of the source one, you will notice that the hole patterns will be on the other side, making the two objects different, reason for which AS numbers those two objects with a different mark.

Assembly numbering also takes into consideration the relative position of the single parts to the main part of the assembly. When you do a mirror on an assembly, this relative position can change, if the attached parts are not symmetrically positioned in relation to the main part. So please check if the assembly is symmetric first, allowing mirror to create an identical assembly. If it appears symmetric but the mirror still doesn't give you a correct output, please send us a model dwg with the original assembly and the mirrored one that appears with a different assembly number.
