Counters
when using counters in numbering, is there a way to change the assigned counter after the beam has been placed on a sheet? In the Advance Properties/structured lists for a specific beam, the "counter" field cannot be edited.

For the US Threaded Anchor Bolts, I can't get it to list the exploded nuts and washers like it does for all other bolts.
For the US Threaded Anchor Bolts, I can't get it to list the exploded nuts and washers like it does for all other bolts. I have turned on the "Anchors", "Exploded Anchors" and "Anchors on Site" in the report contents for the BOM that i am using. Any Suggestions? -
Hole diameter symbol
Greg,
Really late answer on this one. I recently discovered that if you hold down the alt key and type 0248 then release the alt key, you will get a small diameter symbol like this °. 0216 is a large symbol Ø. This has worked in every label edit I have tried in AS
I also put this answer in the "tips and tricks" thread.
Good luck.

Metric Drawings
Can a shop drawing originally done in imperial units be changed to metric. Creating a new dimension style in ACAD based on DSC_DIM_STYLE1 with the alternate units presents the correct dimensioning. However a new Style based on DSC_DIM_STYLE1 with the primary units set to display decimal units and a scale set for metric does not display correctly. For example... 2'-3 5/8" [702mm] is displayed correctly, but a setup for just metric display shows 28. No matter what the scale is set to it always shows 28. What do I have to do to get this to show correctly.
Thanks

Symbols in Advance
Sorry, hold down the "alt" key -
Symbols in Advance
When editing labels and you need to have the degree or diameter symbols I found that this works.
Hold down the <alt> key, type from the numeric pad one of the following (Number lock must be on)
0176 = °
0177 = ±
0216= Ø
0248=ø
as you release the alt key you will receive your symbol. These are the ones i use most often, if you use any others or discover any others, please share them with me. :)

BOM Problem
I was able to work around this one by going back to the original material list (BOM) and copy& pasteing the "Length" field into the new BOM and then it worked correctly. -
Assigning a name to a model object.
When I create a Special Part and bring it into the model, I can give it a specific name in the "Free Remark" field under the "Name" tab and this will appear as the name of the object in the BOM. Is this possible to do with a normal model object?
I used a polybeam with a 1/2" RB to make a "U-bolt" and tried to rename it in the "free remark" column as a u-bolt but it still appears as a "1/2 RB" in the BOM.
Thanks

Another BOM problem
This also happens with any model object. Any help with this would be appreciated. -
Changing part name
I want to change a bolt part name in the Advance Manager as shown in the attached file, but when I press "Apply" the name switches back to what it was before. It is an existing bolt, not one I have created. Is it possible to change the name?
Thanks
