Yes it is possible. From your Advance Steel platform, go to Manage tab - Dimension Style Manager from there you can modify the existing dimstyle, in your case when you get to the modify dimension style window that would be under text tab - text placement. From there you can also create new dimstyle according to your needs.

When you launch or install AS and your icons show as a question mark (?), this means you have to reload the AS cuix files. The command that will allow you to do so is: menuload

Once you type this command and hit enter, you will have the load customization window. You can select ASTADVANCEMENU2013 and click unload. At the bottom right click on browse and this will take you to the Advance cuix files (if the folder takes you to a different directory you can always follow this path:  C:\ProgramData\Graitec\Advance Steel\2013\Steel\Support\Toolbars\2009

From there you will select the ASTADVANCEMENU2013 which you have just unloaded and click open. It will then bring your selection to the box to the customization window and you will click Load.

You can repeat this process for all the Advance Steel toolbars and menus and you can only load them one at a time you cannot do a multi selection. Note that you should not unload ACAD, CUSTOM, AUTODESKSEEK, EXPRESS, IMPRESSION.

you can modify that by going to the Graitec Manager, under table editor, extend AstorDetails, find the title DetailFilenameSelector. Once you click on that, you will have the content of that file to the right of the window, in from the column "Prefix" change all the (03) to (01). Do an update defaults and update your details, sometimes you need to recreate the detail sheets in order to see the modifications.

Now that you have the pdf writer, you have to create a print setup by going to the output tab, print setup ribbon. There you can create your pdf print formats and layouts. In that setup window, under printer name you will select your printer (ie: CutePDF writer) and continue the configuration, once that is done you will save this setup for later use.

if you are not seeing the pdf option there it simply means that you do not have pdf writer on your system. You can download and install PDF writer or CutePDF writer. Once you install that, that option will become available to you.

Creating a model with Advance Steel 2013 whether you added object to the file or not, it will not open with an earlier version of the program, but if the drawing file was created with the 2012 version you would be able to open it with the 2013. In this case the best way for you to resolve this would be to also add Advance Steel 2013 on your this computer and you can then use the same license number from the first computer (of course you will have to take a few seconds to return the license application).

Those are the many view options you can pick from so you can show on your detail. You can select one or all of them depending on the view direction you wish to show.

Once the model or section is ready (modified, numbered, ...) you can go under the output tab, in the NC&DXF ribbon, you will select the DXF command which will then create your files. The created files are located in Document manager under DXF for all objects or you can go directly to the drawing folder which is located in the same location where the model is saved, you will find the files in DSTV / NC. From there they can either be copied or transferred.

Parfois le systeme de securite de l'internet peut empecher l'activation, si toutefois vous avez un programme de securite sur votre machine, je vous suggere de le mettre en suspend avant l'activation. Voyez aussi si vos parametres d'internet ne sont pas programmes a "work offline".
