Sometimes, in the modeling process the user can generate small modeling errors. Inside a structure that contains repetitive patterns, the small errors can be easily multiplied using the Copy/Paste commands. Finding those small errors inside such a model can be difficult and time consuming.

For exemplification, we will use a structure like the one in the picture below:

How to use the new 'Check control' command

The command that makes possible the fast identification of the small modeling errors is called "Check control" and can be found in the "CAD Modification" toolbar:

This command will verify the connectivity between all the elements considered with their linear axis and compare it with the volume overlaping. The program will identify all the linear elements that have volume overlapping and are not connected by their axis.

After accessing this command, a warning message will appear in the command line for each incompatibility situation found:

When double-clicking one of the warning messages, the refered linear elements will be selected on the screen:

Also, after using the "Check control" command, all the places with overlapping volumes and where the linear elements are not connected at their axial ends will be marked on the screen. In order to make the marks visible, the user must change the rendering mode to "Axis":

Once they are identified, the user can correct the linear element intersections.
The precision in identifying the small modeling errors is set by the user from "Options/Aplications.../Analytical model check/Minimal distances between extremities":
