In a complex structure there are elements made from different materials.
To differentiate them based on the material, especially on the formwork plan, you can create a representation style for each one. For accurate modeling of a real building, Advance Concrete provides the option to add material types with user-defined representations.
In the "Advance Project Preferences" select Material.
The material library window will appear:
For this example, we will assume that we need to add "Material 1".
Select "Create" and enter a name.
You will notice that the newly created material will appear in the list.
The next step is to customize it.
On the "Advance Project Preferences" toolbar select "Representation Style".
The representation styles will be sorted based on elements.
You can define a new style for this material. This will allow you to quickly modify its features.
We will consider that the walls are made of "Material 1".
Select "Create" and give your new style a name: "Wall (level1)"
The style for a level 1 wall is created.
Select "Material 1" in the "Selected style content" window from "Styles list", expand "Wall" and choose "By material".
You will have the option to choose between the existing materials and the ones created (Concrete, Full bricks and "Material 1")
For each option, you have multiple choices, from line thickness to color.
After configuring the preferences, save them.
The style can be loaded later and used in a new drawing.
