How do I go about joining certain sections of pipe to make them into one continuous piece?

We are currently have a need to dividing and join our handrails to better suit our production needs. How do I go about joining certain sections of pipe to make them into one continuous piece? If this isn't an option, why?

Hello Buddy,

Did you try to use the "Merge beams" command?

(If you are using Advance Steel on its own CAD platform, you can find the icon in the Tool palette > Beam features)
