Whether or not hidden detail is generated in a drawing is dependant on the Drawing Style used. If you are using the new UK styles and processes it is a deliberate choice to show less hidden detail than previously. You could try using the old styles / processes (under General in Quick Doc's) or edit the new styles to suit your desires.
