When I use the twisted folder plate command to model a rolled plate, the lenght of plate in the BOM is always calculated at inside face of the curve plate. That is not correct as the rolled plate length should be calculated at mid of plate thickness.

Is there any way to set it up for the length calculation of folded plate?

When I use curve beam command to create a curve flat bar, the length is calculated at outside radius in BOM, that is not correct as well. The length in the BOM should be at plate center radius. Any way to fix it?

Twisted folded plate length is calculated on the inner/outer/centre radiuses based on the state of the following default : Expansions method for unfold, found in GAM / General / General.

Curve beams have two lengths that can be displayed in BoMs : System length, which represents the length of the red axis. The system line position can be centred on the beam, or offcentred - based on the respective modelling, and also Section length. The value of this length is either the outer length, or a centre radius(not related to the system axis, the centre radius in this case will always reffers to the beam positon). To control this value, you need to check or uncheck the following default : "Curved beam length calculation method" (GAM/Beam/General).

Thanks for the answer.

For rolling plate, we will use centre radius for the length. For bent plate, we will use inner edges for the length.

In a plate work job, it normally has both rolling plates and bent plates. How can I get the correct length for both of them in one model?

The default is general per Advance Steel, therefore you can't set that specific objects uses a certain value for the default, the other objects - another setting for the default. We recommand you to set model roles to the two classes of objects (rolled plate and bent plate), and then create lists and part drawings for them after using a filter to select only a specific batch of objects, and having the default set to the correct value.
