We have a customer that is requesting to have part sheets for all parts, single and main. This is easy for the single parts and a common process for us. But the main parts are a bit tricky. The customer is requesting a part sheet for the main parts that will be the same as the single parts sheets but still carry the main part mark. Essentially having 2 drawings for each main part with the same number. If this possible within the program?

I should add that the single parts we do with a prefix of "P" so all single parts would be P101, P102, P103.... and so on. And only one to a sheet. When we detail the assembly on a drawing the main part's mark is A1004, B1004, C1004, A1005, B1005.... How do I create an additional drawing for that main part that will use that same mark?

Hi Thomas,Regarding your first question, having 2 drawings for each main part with the same number. If this possible within the program? Yes it is possible. You can use the Post numbering method:SP No (for mainpart) = Assembly No. See attachment.I hope this helps,Best regards,
