2-Where are the drawing prototypes stored?C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Advance Steel 2015.1\Shared\Support\Prototypes3-How does AS work within the server – especially concerning the prototypes and fromone user to another?a. Should the prototypes be setup on all computers that use AS?No, they are found in only one location on the server. If you have a network licence, which you need if you want to use the same licence on multiple PC but not simultaneously, you can learn how to configure it by reading the documentation provided in the link: http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-Configure-your-Network-License-Server.html6-Common settings from one computer to another within the server (management tools) Can this be copied from one computer to another or can it be saved on the server andcommon on all users within AS?Absolutely, you can copy the Astor databases from a computer to another. If you have a network licence, different strategies can be used. You can have a power user controlling the data and every other user has access to it or everyone can update the databases. For stand alone licence you need to copy the Astor mdb databases found at these locations:C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Advance Steel 2015.1\Steel\DataC:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Advance Steel 2015.1\User2\DataC:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Advance\Data8-Changing default settings in management tools – why will it not let us make changes (ie text size – when trying to input a decimal an error came up)If you want to change settings on 2D drawings you have to make the changes directly in the prototypes.10-Intelligent connections – why no CISC (only AISC and EC3). Also within project setup, joint design – AISC only – no CISC.CISC is NOT available at this moment.11-On elevation symbol within the model, why can’t we show the inch amount when it is 0 inches.By default the quantity is shown, even if it’s a null value.
