When I create a Special Part and bring it into the model, I can give it a specific name in the "Free Remark" field under the "Name" tab and this will appear as the name of the object in the BOM. Is this possible to do with a normal model object?

I used a polybeam with a 1/2" RB to make a "U-bolt" and tried to rename it in the "free remark" column as a u-bolt but it still appears as a "1/2 RB" in the BOM.

Thanks

HelloWilliam

Thesolution will be to create new BOM and replace the token “Name” with “Freeremark”, this will show only the values which are in the “Free remark” from thebeam dialog –box. This new BOM it will be use when you have special needs asthis one.

Bestregards
