I have a client who uses Autodesk Inventor. I know there is software for exporting from Revit to use in Advance Design, but can they export a model from Inventor that is compatible?

Advance Design can import the following file formats: gtcfile (native file format through Graitec BIM), IFC ('IFC2X3' file schema isneeded), SDNF, CIS2 (“structural-frame-schema” is needed), DXF. If you succeedto obtain those files from Autodesk Inventor, then you’ll have a start pointand you can try to import them in Advance Design. If you get any error duringthe importation, please provide the files for a further investigation.

I know that from Autodesk Inventor you can export to dwgfile format. This can be useful, as you can try to open it in Advance Steeland, after that, you can try to bring it to Advance Design using Graitec BIM.

Best regards.
