Had a slight problem for a few years where I couldn't change the direction of the mesh and no matter where I set the ucs it always drew the mesh the same direction.

Just a quick hint that on the actual mesh direction symbol on the mesh panel, you can spin around and have the mesh in any direction you want!

Hello,

you can set the fabric span direction in the fabric properties / tab representation.
Just check the box "Symbol span direction" and select a simple line or a user defined block in the pull down menu.

In the attached image you will see the fabric in two different directions with two different symbols (line and user defined block).
