Here is a list of all the available parameters in PowerPack for Revit® and their description to help you get a better understanding of how they can be used.

Graitec Advance Design modules (PowerPack Design and PowerPack Detailing tabs on the ribbon)

Name Description
G.Sheet It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Structural Rebar category).

It indicates an assignment of reinforcement to a specific sheet.

Numbering is separate on different sheets. This parameter is modified by Assign to Sheet tool from PowerPack Detailing.
G.Rebar Location It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Structural Rebar category).

It indicates the layer to which the reinforcement is assigned.

Layers are automatically assigned when using Calculate/ Constructive Dispositions tools from PowerPack Design on the host or when reinforcement is manually created using the dedicated dialogs (those from Main Bars drop-down list).

Layers can be also manually assigned using the Assign Layer tool from PowerPack Detailing. New layers can be created using Layers Definition tool from PowerPack Detailing.
G.OverallQuantityInElement It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Structural Rebar category).

This parameter indicates the quantity of bars with the same rebar number from the host.

This parameter will be updated when using Calculate/ Constructive Dispositions tools from PowerPack Design or when reinforcement is manually created using the dedicated dialogs (those from Main Bars drop-down list).
G.OverallQuantityInGroup It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Structural Rebar category).

This parameter indicates the quantity of bars with the same rebar number from the group the host belongs to (groups created with the Create Group tools in PowerPack Design or Detailing).

This parameter will be updated when calculating an element using Calculate/ Constructive Dispositions tools from PowerPack Design or when reinforcement is manually created using the dedicated dialogs (those from Main Bars drop-down list).
G.Design Template It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Structural Foundations/ Columns/ Framing/ Walls category).

It indicates the name of the template (.gtcx file) used to design the element.
G.Design Group It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Structural Foundations/ Columns/ Framing/ Walls category).

It indicates the name of the design group that the element is part of.
G.Cage Template It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Structural Foundations/ Columns/ Framing/ Walls category).

It represents the name of the rebar cage template used. The parameter will be populated when a rebar cage is loaded onto the element.
G.Design Status It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Structural Foundations/ Columns/ Framing/ Walls/ Floors category).

This parameter indicates the status of the element in terms of design (Calculated OK, Calculated with Warning, Calculated with Errors, Not calculated)

If the Calculate or Verify tools from PowerPack Design are used on an element the values for this parameter can be: Calculated OK, Calculated with Warning, Calculated with Errors. If after Calculate/ Verify the geometry of the element is changed the value for this parameter becomes Not calculated. The same happens if after Calculate/ Verify the design or reinforcement assumptions of the element are changed.

If the Constructive Dispositions tool from PowerPack Design/ Detailing is used on an element the value for this parameter is Not calculated.
G.Concrete Volume It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Structural Foundations/ Columns/ Framing/ Walls/ Floors category).

It displays the concrete volume of the element.

This parameter will be updated when using Calculate/ Constructive Dispositions/ Verify tools from PowerPack Design on an element.
G.Formwork Area It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Structural Foundations/ Columns/ Framing/ Walls/ Floors category).

It displays the formwork area of the element.
This parameter will be updated when using Calculate/ Constructive Dispositions/ Verify tools from PowerPack Design on an element or when reinforcement is manually created using the dedicated dialogs (those from Main Bars drop-down list).
G.Reinf Weight It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Structural Foundations/ Columns/ Framing/ Walls/ Floors category).

It represents the weight of the reinforcement in the element.

This parameter will be updated when using Calculate/ Constructive Dispositions/ Verify tools from PowerPack Design on an element or when reinforcement is manually created using the dedicated dialogs (those from Main Bars drop-down list) and then Verify is launched.
G.Reinf Ratio It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Structural Foundations/ Columns/ Framing/ Walls/ Floors category).

This parameter represents the ratio between G.Reinf Weight and G.Concrete Volume.
G.Average Diameter It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Structural Foundations/ Columns/ Framing/ Walls/ Floors category).

This parameter will be updated when using Calculate/ Constructive Dispositions/ Verify tools from PowerPack Design on an element or when reinforcement is manually created using the dedicated dialogs (those from Main Bars drop-down list) and then Verify is launched.
G.Start Coord X /G.Start Coord Y /G.Start Coord Z It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Structural Foundations/ Columns/ Framing category).

It is added in the project when creating or opening a model and the values are detected in relation to the Project Base Point.
G.Wall Type It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Structural Wall category).

This parameter indicates the structural usage of the wall (Wall meaning Bearing Wall or Shear Wall) and it also indicates if the wall is part of a design group or not.

Graitec PowerPack (PowerPack)

Name Description
G.Column Height It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Columns category).

This parameter interrogates the height of the column.

Click on the Column Height icon to launch the feature. The Column Height command works in the background of your project and updates the G.Column Height parameter.
G.Beam Top Level/ G.Beam Bottom Level It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Framing category).

These parameters interrogate the top and bottom elevation of a beam.

Click on the Beam Elevation icon to launch the feature. The displayed values are calculated for the middle of the element. It is recommended to run the command after the model is done, as the parameter will not be populated for new beams.
G.Wall Height/ G.Wall Thickness It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Walls category).

Both commands work in the same way: Wall Height interrogates the height of the wall, while the second command interrogates the thickness.

Click on the Wall Height or Wall Thickness commands to launch one of the two features.
G.Slab Top Level/ G.Slab Bottom Level It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Floors category).

This parameter interrogates the top and bottom of the floor. The displayed values are calculated for the middle of the element.

Click on the Slab Elevation command to launch the feature.
G.Slab Thickness It is a shared parameter (property of elements belonging to Floors category).

This parameter interrogates the thickness of the floor. The displayed values are calculated for the middle of the element.
