In Advance Steel 2010 on the AutoCAD® 2010 platform, when launching the "Convert Advance Steel drawings" command from the Additional Tools toolbar, the following error message will appear on the command line:
"Command: ; error: Automation Error. Problem in loading VBA"
This command batch converts the drawings from one version to another including backups. The problem is that this functionality requires VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) technology. AutoCAD® 2010 no longer installs VBA tools by default. Thus, it is necessary to download and install them separately.
