The user can modify the materials, the library, the sections or the shape library and can configure the project settings.
For this example we will modify a few options on the "Advance project Preferences" toolbar:
To modify the lengths units from mm to m, access the properties window for the units on the "Advance project Preferences" toolbar. Next, go to the row labeled lengths, in the "Type" category, choose "Meter" and modify the amount of decimal numbers of the precision.
On the "Regulation" tab of the "Preferences" dialog box, choose the "Exact" bar length calculation.
Modify the beams automatic Reinforcement concrete beam cover from 30mm to 25mm.
To save all the modifications use the "Save" option on the "Advance Project Preferences" toolbar.
The ".acprj" file is saved.
The saved file can be loaded by accessing the "Load" option on the "Advance Project Preferences" toolbar.
The file with the "acprj" extension is selected. This file contains all the modifications that were saved.
The user can load the saved file for each project. Also this file can be shared with other users so that the configuration time is reduced.
The project settings are no longer valid if the Advance Concrete program was uninstalled and reinstalled. To use the settings saved before the reinstallation of the program, the user must load the previously saved "acprj" file.
