For this example, we will create a reinforcement drawing for a slab using "Create a reinforcement drawing" on the "Advance Reinforcement" toolbar.
Select the "Create a simple mesh outline" command on the "Advance Reinforcement" toolbar. This command automatically distributes fabric mesh on a chosen shape (detection) or on a shape defined by the user through grid points.
After defining the grid points or choosing the shape, create the holes if they are present in the slab.
Next select from the properties window or from the "Smart Bar": type of fabrics, overlapping fabrics length, representation style, etc. Once these parameters are defined, you can choose the distribution starting point for fabrics. These will be assigned transversal or longitudinal.
For this example, use the following properties:
You can modify the properties of the reinforcing fabrics. Select the dot line display shape, and from the "Smart bar" open the properties window. If any change is made on the fabric properties in this window, the dot line contour turns red. If you want the changes to be taken in to account click the "Update" button on the properties bar.
To view the fabric scraps you can use the "Create a mesh starting from scraps" option.
Start the "Create a mesh starting from scrap" command, select all the fabrics, and then press "Enter". On the drawing, the red lines describe the distributed scraps of fabrics.
These scraps can be manually replaced using the options on the "Recycle" toolbar.
To optimize the fabrics automatically the "Automatically optimize mesh rests" command can be used.
Select the command and then the entire drawing and then press "Enter". The optimization window appears. The optimization process is started when you click the "Start" button. When the percentage of optimization is no longer changing, the process must be stopped using the "finish and save" button.
To see the reinforcement fabrics where the scraps were replaced after the optimization process, the "Create a mesh starting from scraps" command must be used again. The gray color denotes the replaced scraps and the red color denotes the remaining scraps after the optimization.
You can then create the list of fabrics using the "Create a list" option on the "Advance Reinforcement" toolbar.
