After the completion of several Advance Concrete projects, users usually develop a specific workflow. Certain options are used more often and the same settings are applied to a multitude of elements or drawings. This routine contributes to saving time and resources and obtaining the best results.

Advance Concrete provides a set of user options that are applied to all future models, once they are saved in the current one, without the need of setting them over and over again.

These options are incorporated in the "User preferences" window, where they are listed in categories. This window is available from the menu opened by right-clicking "Project" in the Pilot.

Reinforcement detailing elements – symbols, bending details for bars and bent meshes, distribution dimensions – can be automatically created together with the reinforcement. The user can choose which of them are to be created.

The corresponding option group is on the "Visual elements" tab of the "User preferences" window:

How are detailing elements that are automatically created together with reinforcement bars and bent meshes chosen?

If the option is checked and then the validation tab is used, the respective detailing element will be generated automatically when the bar/bent mesh/distribution is created.

For example, to create bending details and bending detail symbols for each bar in the project, their respective options must be checked. If a circular bar is created in the reinforcement drawing of a cylindrical column, only these detailing elements will be generated:

If a reinforcement symbol is required, the corresponding option must be checked, while the other ones are not:

When the "Distribution dimension" is checked, once a bar distribution is created the following element is also displayed:

If the user activates the "Distribution label" option, a symbol is applied to all the bars in the distribution:

If both options are checked at the same time, only a distribution dimension will be created.

The settings of automatically launched detailing components will be kept in all models created or opened after the current one.
