The "Mark Elements" option helps users working on large and complex projects by optimizing the work flow. It provides the option to highlight bars and fabrics included in a reinforcement list.

By using this option, creating a complete and correct reinforcement drawing containing a large number of reinforcement elements is much easier to accomplish and the occurrence of errors and confusion is minimal.

There are two ways of using "Mark Elements":

- Select the list and check the "Mark Elements" option on the Smartbar.
- Select the list, open the "Properties" window and check the "Mark Elements" option on the "Definition" tab.

The option can also be used during the creation of the list and the setting will be kept for any list created later on.

After checking the option, all bars and fabrics included in the list will be assigned a new color in order to separate them from the rest of the reinforcement elements in the drawing that are not part of the list:

The color used for the marked bars can be chosen by the user.

It can be changed from the "User preferences" window, which can be opened by right-clicking on a Project name in the Pilot. On the "Display" tab, the desired color is chosen from the drop-down list.

If a bar is subsequently added to the list, it will automatically receive the color of all marked bars. Similarly, a bar that is removed from a list with the "Mark Elements" option active will automatically lose the corresponding color.

If bars in the project are colored by diameter, once "Mark Elements" is checked, bars included in the list will change color, according to the setting in "User preferences".

This option is applied to all elements included in a list, except for structural elements, ACIS solids and bar supports.
