For this example we will create a 25cm thick wall. The level height will be 4m.
A window will be created using the "Create a window" command on the "Advance Model" toolbar.
The wall must be selected and the window must be placed in the desired position.
The properties page of the window must be opened. Using the "Add" option the window parameter list is accessed (1). From the "Inclined lintel" category, the window angled dimensions must be chosen (2). Using the "Import" option the dimension are imported from the library.
All the window dimensions can be modified using the "Modify" button and then selecting the "Defined" tab.
All the parameters are detailed in the bottom right picture.
In this example we will modify the "D" parameter. To validate the changes the "Modify" button must be clicked on the "Defined" tab and then "OK".
The window dimension can be modified from the "Window type" on the "Smart Bar" and by pressing "Enter" for validation.
To add the lintel on the top part of the window, perform the following steps:
The beam binds with the roof by using the "Bind" command on the "Advance Model" toolbar.
Select the roof declination and the beam and press "Enter".
In the properties line of the roof, insert the value for the distance from the top level of the story to the angled line of the lintel beam.
In the beam properties the "Perpendicular" option can be used for the beam ends.
