In Advance Concrete it is possible to create a fabric outline by automatic detection. You can specify an extension value to recognize the area.
This option can only be used in Modeling or in a plan view and only Advance Concrete elements are taken into account.
For example, we have the following situation:
Advance Concrete provides the option to create a detection based on an extension value.
Click the "Create a simple fabric outline" icon on the Reinforcement toolbar.
Type D on the command line for automatic detection and press Enter.
Type O (Options) and press Enter. On the command line you will be asked to input the new extension value.
In this case the extension value must be larger than 1.95 meters, the distance between the walls.
Enter 2 meters.
Note: The extension value must be specified according to the AutoCAD units.
Select a point in the interior zone of the walls.
A dashed contour is created.
You can also create cavities.
Next pick the insertion point for the fabric inside the contour created by the 4 walls.
Note: This option can be applied in the plan view or in the model, and not in the reinforcement drawing or any other view.
Because the extension limit was increased, the meshes were placed between the walls.
