Advance Concrete provides the option to change the name of the automatically created layer. The layer name configuration can be done from the "Advance Project Preferences" toolbar.
On the "Standard" tab, the "Advance" layer style can be viewed. It can be modified from the properties page of the initialization parameters at the opening of a new Advance Concrete drawing.
When the "Advance" standard layer is selected, in the modeling part of Advance Concrete, the elements are created on the "Building.Level1(+3.00m)" layer. The layer name contains the name of the building (Building Name) + the level name (Level/View()) + the label of the element type (Element Type) according to the layer definition line on the "Standard" tab.
The element label type (Element Type) is not added in the layer name, because, in the "General type" function, related to this category (Element Type), the element types are not added. To add them access the "Functions" tab and select the "General type" function.
This function contains 2 columns: object and value. In the object column, the Advance Concrete element name is chosen, and, in the value column, the desired element label must be filled. This label will be added in the layer name.
To save the layer's style name the information must entered on the "Standard" tab. Then the std file is saved in the "Layer Standards" folder. The saved layer style is not applied on the current drawing.
To apply a new layer style open a new Advance Concrete file and pick the layer name from the Initialization of parameters page.
In the column properties, on the "Layer" tab, the name of layer is displayed according to the rules applied in the saved layer style.
