Advance Concrete provides the "Compose dynamic reinforcement" option. The purpose of this option is to simplify the application of numerous dynamic reinforcement solutions for the same group of elements with different sections. It provides better control and better organization of the reinforcement parameters in a single properties window for an entire set of structural elements. This is possible by reducing the reinforcing parameters number for a group of concrete elements. The simplification is made by setting equal relations between different reinforcement parameters from two or more dynamic reinforcement solutions. The grouped dynamic solutions are not limited to the model in which they were defined. They can also apply to structural elements that belong to other projects.

This way you can use the dynamic reinforcement method at maximum capacity in an easy and efficient way for both simple and complex projects.

The dynamic solution can be created and applied according to the project requirements. More dynamic reinforcement solutions can be grouped in one solution using the "Compose dynamic reinforcement" option. This option can be applied in the Modeling part of Advance Concrete.

For a group of structural elements, several dynamic solutions can be applied. They will be grouped into a single dynamic solution.

The "Compose dynamic reinforcement" option is chosen from the tool palette and all the dynamic solutions are selected, and then the properties window of the grouped solution appears.

In the window of the defined composed solutions you can view all the dynamic solutions selected (A1, B1, C1) and all their parameters.

The "Parameters" category contains the parameters added from the properties list of the reinforcement bar during the dynamic solution's creation.

The "Object properties" category contains all the reinforcement bar properties that are included in the dynamic solution.

In the "Composed solution parameters" category you can choose any desired parameter that later can be accessed and modified from the properties of the grouped solutions.

Most of the time, the parameters that are the most frequently used are selected, for example, diameter, steel grade, covers, anchors, etc. Also you can add the equal relations between parameters.

If you are using a single type of steel grade, for the entire reinforcement cage, then a single general category can be added that contains the steel grade for a reinforcement bar. Next, for all the reinforcement bars, an equal relation will be added. This way you can modify only one parameter for the entire reinforcement cage. This method can be applied for other parameters like diameter, covers, anchors, etc. The way to modify the parameters and equal relations is the same as the method of adding them when the dynamic solution is created.

The grouped solution can be saved by validation of the property window. This solution is saved in the "Dynamic reinforcement" folder.

The application of the dynamic solutions is done using the "Apply dynamic solution" option. All the structural elements that are contained in the initial group are selected and the grouped dynamic solution, saved in Dynamic Reinforcement folder, is selected.

For the entire set of elements a single dynamic reinforcement solution was applied. When you access the property window of this solution, only the defined parameters that can be modified in the composed reinforcement solution properties window. On the bottom side of the property window, on the Dimension tab, there are two arrows. These arrows are used for viewing the picture of each structural element that is contained in the grouped solution.

The same reinforcement cage is obtained as in the case of individual reinforcement solutions, but the number of the reinforcement parameters is reduced and the accessibility of these parameters is in a single window properties. This way you can better manage the entire group of elements. The grouped solutions, saved in the Dynamic reinforcement folder, are not only for the drawing in which they were defined; they can be applied in other projects that contain a similar group of structural elements.
