The new Dynamic Reinforcement solutions in Advance Concrete 2011 were created to help users rapidly and easily design the reinforcement for concrete elements.
In Advance Concrete 2011, the Dynamic Reinforcement solutions are organized in categories so that the user can easily find and identify them. The categories were created based on the reinforcement type. For example, for beam reinforcements the user will select the "Beams" category, while for the opening reinforcements, the "Openings" category must be chosen.

For the models that contain a large number of structural walls, the Dynamic Reinforcement solutions in the "Intersection Walls" or "Walls" categories can be easily applied.

For the reinforcement of wall corners, the "Wall Corner Detail" solution is used.

The corner walls must be selected and then the solution is applied. In the properties, the rebar shapes can be set.

To view the reinforcement, a reinforcement drawing must be created using the "Create a reinforcement drawing" option.

Four bars will be placed at the intersection of the walls representing the wall boundary reinforcement. The user can define the properties for the longitudinal bars diameter and for the rectangular frames.

In the properties options, the user can choose to eliminate the F and G rebar and can adjust the E1 and E2 distances. Using the same Dynamic Reinforcement option the user can obtain two different reinforcement solutions for the wall corner.

For the T shape wall intersections, one of the following Dynamic Reinforcement solutions can be selected:

- T walls intersection
- T walls intersection top
- T walls intersections with additional bars
- T walls intersections with additional bars top
- T walls intersection - middle bars bend on top
- T walls simple intersection - bend bars on top.

To apply the solution the user must select the walls: the first wall and then the second wall must be perpendicular to the first one.

The "T wall intersection" Dynamic Reinforcement solution contains 10 vertical bars and 2 rectangular bar types. This solution is applied to the intermediate stories. In the center of the wall intersection are 4 longitudinal bars and at the end of each rectangular bar another 2 bars. In the solution properties the reinforcement can be optimized (the bar diameters can be changed; the upper overlap distance can be set; the rectangular bar diameters and the distribution can be inserted and the length of the rectangular bars can be modified by changing the h1, h2 and h3 parameters).

The "T walls intersection top" solution is very similar to the "T walls intersection" solution. This solution is applied to the last level of the building or it can be applied when the user wants to use bars with hooks on the top end. The parameter customization is identical as for the "T walls intersection". The adjustments for the bar hooks are made using the "Hook angle" and "Hook length" options.

The "T walls intersection with additional bars" solution is also derived from the "T walls intersection" solution. This solution contains additional longitudinal bars for each side of the rectangular frame. The user can choose the number of bars, the type of material, the diameter and the anchorage length for the top side of the bars. The rectangular bar length is adjusted with the h1, h2, and h3 parameter values. This solution is applied to the intermediate stories.

The "T walls intersection with additional bars on top" solution is similar to the "T walls intersection with additional bars" solution, with the exception that it is only applied to the last story or when the user wants to use bars with hooks on the top end. The adjustments for the bar hooks are made using the "Hook angle" and "Hook length" options.

The "T walls intersection - middle bars bent on top" solution is applied to the intermediate stories. This solution is different because of its vertical bars from the center of the wall intersection. These bars are angled on the top end. This particularity makes the placement of the reinforcement from the next level easier. For the angle adjustment, the user must use the "Height crack (Hg)" and "Width crack (Lg)" options.

The "T walls simple intersection - bend bars on top" solution is also applied to the intermediate levels. This solution contains all the bars from the center of the wall intersection and a rectangular bar defined inside the intersection area. The vertical bars are angled on the top end. The angle adjustment is done using the "Height crack (Hg)" and "Width crack (Lg)" options.

In the case of four wall intersections, the user can use one of the following solutions:

- 4 walls simple intersection
- 4 walls simple intersection - top
- 4 walls intersection
- 4 walls intersection - top
- 4 walls intersection additional bars

To apply one of these solutions the user must select a four wall intersection.

The "4 walls simple intersection" solution is applied to the intermediate stories. The "4 walls simple intersection - top" solution is applied to the last story of the structure. These reinforcement solutions consist of four linear bars in the center of the wall intersections and a rectangular frame. The characteristics of these reinforcement solutions can be modified (the material type, the concrete coverage, the diameters, the anchorage length, the hook length, the hook angle, the rectangular bar distribution and many others).

The "4 walls intersection" solution is applied to the intermediate stories. The reinforcement solution consists of 2 longer rectangular frames, 4 vertical bars placed in the center of the intersection and 2 vertical bars at the end of each rectangular bar. The rectangular bars can be modified with the h1, h2, h3, and h4 parameters. All the reinforcement solution parameters of the other reinforcement solutions can be modified the same way.

The "4 walls intersection - top" solution is applied to the last level of the building. All the longitudinal bars have hooks on the top side. This reinforcement solution is similar to the "4 walls intersection" solution.

The "4 walls intersection additional bars" solution is also similar to the "4 wall intersection" solution. This solution contains additional vertical bars for each of the rectangular frame sides. The user can choose the number of additional bars, the material and the top anchorage length. The rectangular frame side is adjusted using the h1, h2, h3, and h4 parameters. This solution is applied to the intermediate levels.
