To show the difference between the length and the saw cut length for beams, this example will use a beam with saw cuts at both sides. In case of double cuts at one beam end, the saw cut lengths is defined by the cut that creates the shortest beam.
The length of the beam is in the Advance properties.
The saw cut length can be used and viewed in the "Saw cut list".
To see the saw cut length of this section, in the saw cut list you must change the report contents.
The default for the report contents is set to "Beams with saw cuts", but this option is available only for elements that have no more than 2 saw cuts.
For elements that have more then 2 saw cuts, like in our example, the report contents must be set to "Profile".
