In Advance Steel there are functions that allow highlighting rapidly the connected objects, by marking them with red. These functions allow:
- Displaying objects connected in the shop;
- Displaying objects connected on the building site;
- Displaying the connection elements.
- Displaying objects connected on the building site;
- Displaying the connection elements.
On the "Grid, section, plate, structural element" toolbar, select the "Sub-Check Connection" flyout.
| Number | Description of the function |
| 1 | "Display connected object". This function allows displaying objects connected through bolts or welds. Select the function and, then, select a connection of the model and validate. All connected elements will be highlighted with red. |
| 2 | "Delete the marking + display connected elements". This function allows deleting the previous marking and making a new marking of the objects connected with bolts or welds. Select the function, then select a model connection and validate. All connected elements will be highlighted with red. |
| 3 | "Display object connected in the shop". This function allows displaying the object connected in the shop. Select the function and, then, a part of the model, and validate. All elements connected in the shop will be highlighted with red. |
| 4 | "Delete the marking + display object connected in the shop". This function allows deleting the previous marking and making a new marking of the object connected in the shop. Select the function and, then, a part of the model and validate. All elements connected in the shop will be highlighted with red. |
| 5 | "Display assembly parts". This function allows displaying the elements that connect the parts between them (welds and bolts). Select the function and then a part of the model and validate. All the elements of the connections will be highlighted with red. |

This function allows deleting the previous marking and displaying the elements that connect the parts between them (welds and bolts). Select the function and, then, select a part of the model and validate. All the elements of the connections will be highlighted with red. |
