- To start, all the loading hypotheses must be defined in the model, for example, Self Weight, Dead Loads, Live Loads, Snow Loads, etc.
- In the properties list of the Modal Analysis Hypothesis you must define the following parameters:
a. Modes - Number - the number of eigen modes defined by the user corresponding to the structure type.
b. Masses - Definition - select "masses obtained by combining static loads". This option allows you to define the component of modal mass.
c. Masses - Combinations - you can define the coefficient which is combined with the load cases in the modal mass.
- One the finite element analysis is done, you can view the structure's eigen modes.
- The Report Generator allows you to create a report with the modal analysis results.
