This article describes the reasons why your PowerPack tabs may be missing from the Revit ribbon.

Here are several situations when your PowerPack tabs may be missing and we will explain how to fix it:

1. There is no PowerPack tab present in the Revit ribbon (PowerPack, PowerPack Detailing or PowerPack Design)

Cause: “Graitec – Advance PowerPack for Autodesk Revit” (needed for PowerPack ribbon) and “Graitec - Advance Design modules” (needed for PowerPack Detailing and Design ribbons) are not installed.
Solution: Verify in Control Panel if the previously mentioned products are installed. If they are not, install them.

Note: If “Graitec - Advance Design modules” is the only product installed from the PowerPack suite, then you will need to have an active license for the PowerPack Detailing and Design tabs to show.

2. Only PowerPack Design and PowerPack Detailing are visible in the Revit ribbon and PowerPack is missing

Cause: Only “Graitec - Advance Design modules” application is installed.
Solution: Install “Graitec – Advance PowerPack for Autodesk Revit” to have the PowerPack tab.

3. Only the PowerPack tab is visible in the Revit ribbon (PowerPack Design and PowerPack Detailing are missing)

Causes and solutions:

1. “Graitec - Advance Design modules” (needed for PowerPack Detailing and Design ribbons) is not installed.
Solution: Verify in Control Panel if the previously mentioned product is installed. If it is not, install it.

2. “Graitec - Advance Design modules” (needed for PowerPack Detailing and Design ribbons) are installed but you don’t have an active license for this product.
Solution: Activate the needed license for this product.

3. At one point you opened Revit without an active license for “Graitec - Advance Design modules ”. You closed Revit, activated the license for “Graitec - Advance Design modules” and reopened Revit.
Solution: Navigate to the PowerPack tab and click on PowerPack. Click on PowerPack Customization. Navigate to Ribbon Customization and check PowerPack Detailing and PowerPack Design. See also How to activate the PowerPack for Revit tabs

4. You have activated a “Graitec - Advance Design modules” license during the current Revit session.
Solution: See the solution from point 3. Close and reopen Revit.
