Often you want to display a title on prints to show more information about the project.
For example, information about the project number, prototype name, position number, and revision index can be added in a title block.

If this were made with common attributes, then automatic format of the text, depending on its length, would not be possible.

Using the method presented below, the formatting according to the length of the text will be done automatically. The first step is to copy and rename the prototype that you want to change and after that open it. The new prototype must be saved in the same location as the other prototypes.

Note: Set the Attribute display to retain the added information. This is done with the "ATTMODE" command and the value set to 1.

After opening the prototype, go to edit the "HYPERDTEELPAGEHEADER" block. This block can contain what you want. In this example, we will use the project name and some information about the drawing such as project number, position number and revision index.

This extra information will be displayed only if defined in the model; if you define a project number, the part position will be shown if it is numbered. The information is displayed this way because the corresponding attributes are used.

Ensure that the positioning area of the text is free. Also, the block will contain for each item in the final text one attribute. Project number is displayed by the "PROJECT_NO" attribute, the position of the piece by the "POS_NUM" attribute and the revision index by the "REVISION_INDEX" attribute.

Write the project name and convert the block with the "HYPERSTEELPAGEHEADER" name using the "BLOCK" command.

In the "Block editor" add the desired attributes using the "Attribute Definition" option. It is very important that these attributes be set to invisible.

After adding all the attributes you want, save and close the block. In order for the last settings to be taken into consideration, insert the block in the prototype using the "Insert" command.

After inserting the block in the prototype, assign values to the new attributes to display the appropriate information when the prototype is used at detailing.
These values can be added as follows:

1. Insert a "text" under the title block and the "Text Editor" will open. In fact, this text does not exist.

2. In the "Text Editor", use the "Insert Field" option. The "Field" dialog box will open. Choose the field category and name and then select the object.
In the "Field category" choose the "Objects" category, in the "Field names" choose "Object" and select the object type.

The block that is defined in the prototype must be selected. After selection, the dialog box will reopen and all the properties of the selected object will be displayed. Among them, you will be able to see the added attributes .

3. Select the first attribute that you want to display and then click "OK".
In this example the first attribute selected is "PROJECT_NO" and this will display the corresponding information set in Project Preferences.
Using the same options, the other attributes are inserted, which will display the appropriate information.

After inserting all the attributes, the template is saved and closed.
Every time you create a detail and use this template, the invisible attributes, from the block, will be displayed and updated as model details.
