Advance Concrete provides the option to define polylines that can be used as cross sections for different elements. For example, the cross section of a column element can be defined from an L-shaped closed polyline.

  • From the Advance Project Preferences toolbar, launch the Description of the model geometry command:

  • A dialog box is displayed where you can add a section from the libraries or you can add a new section with the shape of the defined polyline.

  • Follow the same steps to add a longitudinal cross section for a beam. First draw the cross section shape, and then launch the "Description of the model geometry" command to add a new section.
