Consider the attached model with Assembly A-1 and B-2, both assemblies are identical bar for A-1 which has circular contours on the web. Both workshop drawings BOM give the same total weight for the assembly, but this cannot be the case for Assembly A-1 as it has material removed from the beam so should have a smaller weight

The command  astm4balancepoint does give correct values on the commandline for selected objects.

A-1 Assembly

Command: _astm4balancepoint
21 found

The center of gravity of the selected objects is (-6280.8,18167.21,0), the
total weight is 66.8 kg

B-2 Assembly

Command: _astm4balancepoint
13 found

The center of gravity of the selected objects is (-5280.8,18167.21,0), the
total weight is 71.18 kg.

Both Values are different from 72.67kg shown on the workshop drawings and Structured Lists.

How is it possible to get the correct values onto lists or workshop drawings.

Hello,

When a BoM template is configured, we can choose between two different tokens when describing the object weight. One of them will show the exact weight, by taking into consideration holes or inner contour features, while the other token will describe the object weight by ignoring those features, and just considering the outer shape of the object. The template used in those lists present in your drawings are configured to display the "Weight" and "Weight in model" for the object, which fits in the second case - the weight is calculating by ignoring any inner contour features or holes. In order to obtain the exact weight, you'll need to configure the list with the token : "Exact Weigh"t and "Exact Weight in model".
Information about how to modify a BoM on Drawing template can be found in the following FAQ  : http://www.graitec.com/en/FAQ_view.asp?FAQID=625&Language=EN

Dumitru, thank you for the informative answer. Do you have a list of token available for BOM on drawing?

Hello,

The avaliable bom on drawing tokens can be found in the roll-down menu present in the BoM list filed accesible when editing a bom on drawing dwg template file - see attached picture. The tokens have the same name and functionality as those avaliable in the normal BoM editor,
