How to make alike objects show up as 1

In advance steel 2015.1, how do I make alike objects (2 sq tubes same length and type) show up as 1with a exact count during numbering for material lists?

When you open the numbering dialogue box, click the "special" tab at the top and make sure SINGLE PART and ASSEMBLY PART are unchecked under " Unique mark per object". This should fix your issue.
