Creating a railing with a grab rail and connecting the grab rail with a bent round bar

When creating a railing with a grab rail and connecting the grab rail with a bent round bar, it is created as three pieces of round bar which are billed separately in the BOM. Is there a workaround in the model for it to be identified as one piece of material, while keeping the intelligent connection?

Eric,

In the option grab connector you should see an option to check on or off to (use poly beam). If this option is checked on the connector bar should come as one member.
