For some reason I can't attach multiple joist seats to a W-beam column. Placing the first one is no problem (on one side of the web in this case). But when trying to place a second set  on the opposite side of the web or on one of the flanges,  it shows up in the same orientation as the first set.

Am I experiencing a glitch here?

Dennis,

We tried to reproduce the problem you are having with joist seats. I have succeeded in placing joist seat on both sides of web, by launching and selecting joist seat connection from Vault. Please call us for further information 1 800 724-5678

It's all good Ben. Got it fixed. Problem was: I was selecting the placement point along the red centroid line instead of the surface of the column.

Thanks anyways
