The 2014 version of Advance Steel recommends using the 64-bit version of Access database. Is there a specific engine that we need to download? After it is downloaded how do we tell Advance Steel to use that engine instead of the 32-bit engine that we currently have running?

Thank you,

Russ Parker

Hello Russ,

You will have to download a recent version of Microsoft Office. You can find answers to your questions regarding 32-bit and 64-bit a this website http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/windows/32-bit-and-64-bit-windows#1TC=windows-7. I believe when you download the engine Advance Steel will automatically use the correct engine path. You also have a option when dowloading softwares to choose the path.

Regards,

Janet Black
