I am looking for a connection that will allow a beam to be coped and and bolted to a perpendicular beam's web stiffener? Shear plate connection gets me close but I don't see anything to allow the main beam's web stiffener to replace the shear plate.

Thanks in advance!

For those of you who read my post I found the answer.  It is in the shear plate selection of the connection vault.

Once you create the connection, make sure the the main beam that is being connected to has a stiffener (cuts and stiffeners>beam stiffener).  Once this is done you then make the shear plate act the stiffener (plates and bolts>plate layout>plate type>flange both, under the option for plate type select full). From there you can determine the criteria for the remaining connecting elements as needed just as you would with a standard shear plate.

Hope this help anyone looking.

Luke
