I have just noticed that in 2015.1 and 2016 Advance Steel the corner base plate macro does not work for HSS columns that are less than 4x4. When trying to put a corner base plate on a HSS 3x3 column I receive an unspecified error. This happens in both 2015.1 and 2016. Could someone point me to where the change needs to be made in one of the miles of databases that run AS so that we can put corner base plates on smaller columns?Thank you.

The unspecified error you get on the smaller columns is because the default connection would have a self intersecting base plate with the smaller columns. If you create the connection on a larger column and change the column size to a smaller size (example 3x3 tujbe) the connection box will turn red. This means the plate size must be adjusted so it is not self intersecting. Once you have the connection right, you can save it to the library for future use.
