Trying out AS2011 demo and so far I am very impressed... It is such an easy program to learn and other than working with Drawing Styles I am finding it easy to learn....

I am wondering how to add a 1/4" cap/closure plate to a HSS4x4x1/4 column? I cannot find this in the Connection Vault?

Any help would be appreciated.....

Hello Mr. Smith,

If you look under Stiffeners familly into the connection vault, you will see the option "End Plate" That will provide you the connection.

Although I have to tell you I would have never thought to look for a cap plate under stiffners....
