Error received when using clip connection

I am using autocad 2010 with AS2013. When I try to connect a W10x26 and W10x22 using the double sided clip and and the clip angle connection I recieve an error. ASTCONTROLS8X64 an improper argument. How can I resolve this error.

The error appears if a joint component that handles the joint controller was not correctly registered in your OS. If the issue still appears, please try to run an Advance Steel re installation on the computer.
